Co-produced by BAAA and the Australian High Commission in New Delhi, “An Alumni Perspective” tells the stories of 15 alumni and how studying in Australia shaped their lives and careers in Bhutan.

The publication was officially launched in December 2017 by the Australian Ambassador and the Bhutanese Foreign Minister, marking 15 years of diplomatic relations between Bhutan and Australia.

Featured alumni come from diverse sectors — public service, education, health, environment, and civil society — each sharing how their Australian education shaped their professional journey and their contribution to Bhutan’s development.

The book remains a treasured resource for current and future Australia Awards scholars, offering a window into the lasting impact of the scholarship programme on Bhutan.
